Ranking Errors
Here at the Scoreboard, we know how important our effort is for the sport of competitive junior golf and we strive to constantly monitor what we do to insure the highest level of accuracy. In the principle of transparency we want to share a recent issue in our Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings (c).
Thanks to an email from a Scoreboard visitor, it was discovered that the scoring differentials for some players were incorrectly computed. The error caused some of the differentials to be slightly better than what they should have been. That has been corrected. The result may be that a player’s ranking may have changed by a few places in their class ranking and overall ranking, some in either direction, some not at all. The Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings (c) for players are separated by small decimal place differences in the scoring differential so some movement has occurred.
