Purdue Coaches Golf School

Our curriculum again this year will include “academic enhancement.” This is a series of evening seminars on study skills, time management, stress management, and preparing academically for college golf. Daily, students will be completing station rotations that cover every phase of the game. Topics such as fi tness, tournament preparation, course strategy, rules, equipment, and psychology are also covered. Students will also participate in competitive intramural and recreational activities. Everyone will take home a school notebook, which will include the week’s written notes on instruction, analysis of swing and
equipment, and drill recommendations for future improvement. All instruction and play will be at Purdue’s Birck Boilermaker Golf
Complex, a 36-hole layout that includes the Pete Dye-designed
Kampen Course and the Ackerman Hills Course, which hosted the
2008 Men’s NCAA championship.
