Putting Without Labels

  1. Choose a spot on the green approximately 15 feet from the hole.
  2. Place three balls next to each other. Your score starts at "EVEN PAR".
  3. The 1st putt symbolizes a "birdie putt" (If you make this putt you are 1 under par…..if you miss this putt you are even par).

  5. The 2nd putt symbolizes a "par putt". Carry over your score from the first ball and add your new total.

  7. The 3rd putt symbolizes a "bogey putt". Carry over your score from the second ball and add your new total. Play this drill for 9 different holes and count up your score overall. Notice if your mentality and routine change before a birdie, par or bogey putt. If you notice big differences use this drill consistently whenever you practice your putting.
